New Job or Payed position

So I stated a new job this past week and have been going through some training. My blog has not been on my mind much lately.

But I did want to share this info i received from Training... at XXX company

Words not to use

Handicapped, Disabled, Crippled, or Gimp = Person with disability
Mentally retarded or retarded = Person with cognitive disability
Person "suffers from " or "victim or" = He or she is an individual with...
Blind = Person who has a visual disability
(The next one is just too much)
Handicap parking = Accessible parking ( isnt all parking accessible?)
Dwarf or Midget = Person of short stature (i thought they preferred little people)
Wheelchair bound or confined = Person who uses a wheelchair.... (thats a good one)
The Deaf = Person with hearing related disability
A Mute = Person with speech disability
A Mongoloid idiot or mongoloid = Person with Down Syndrome

I have a few things to say about this list but im short for time... hopefully tonight i can add a bit. I just wanted to get that out there to share asap
